I was employed by the National Gallery as New Media Designer 2004-2007.
My role included:
- Daily management of the National Gallery website
- Co-ordination of web projects liaising with colleagues to agree concept, feasibility and timetable
- Production of information architecture, photoshop layouts and html/css markup for new pages and sections of the website as required
- Advised and supported marketing colleagues in the production of e-marketing materials
The National Gallery website has recently re-launched with a new look and feel and content management system. The re-design project was launched while I was at the Gallery and my involvement included being on the panel to choose design agency and technology partner; working with the design agency (Bureau for Visual Affairs) to refine design elements; liaising with technology partner (Box UK) to ensure the inclusion of necessary elements in the content management system.
